ROOTBARRIER ROOT PROTECTION
Unwanted damage caused by roots is no longer a problem with the professional root protection Root Barrier
​
The roots of the trees naturally choose a way through the soil to get to water.
​
In most cases, this causes a variety of problems and uncontrolled root growth can significantly damage pipelines (e.g.: waxing in sockets and pipe wrappings).
​
In order not to have to cut down trees and to be able to protect the pipelines permanently, Root Barrier has been developed.
​
It consists of a 100% polypropylene geotextile with a thermally applied extruded polypropylene layer that is 100% impenetrate able for roots.
Application
Root Barrier is laid against the roots with the smooth surface and can be used in various ways.
​
  • VERTICAL as a partition between roots and pipelines.
  • DEVELOPMENT of pipelines – so that they cannot be penetrated by roots.
